Asiwaju (Dr.) Michael Olawale-Cole had served the Lagos State Government of Nigeria as Honourable Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development and later as Honourable Commissioner for Works and Transport about 30 years ago. He hails from the Apena Royal Family of Isolo and Toluwalade Osundoye Ruling House of Ojota Kingdom, Lagos State, Nigeria.
This distinguished alumnus of the University of Lagos is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School, USA; University of Cambridge, England; South West London College, England and All Saints University of America (New York). 

He is a Companion of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and a Chartered Management Consultant (CMC). Michael is a fellow of the following professional bodies – Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (Chartered); Institute of Directors, UK; Chartered Management Institute, UK; Certified Institute of Management; Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.

Extensive Pro Bono services have been offered by Michael as the President and Chairman of Council of the largest professional body in Africa, the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) 2011-2013; President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) 2003-2005; President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) 1999-2001; and as a former National President, University of Lagos Alumni Association (1996-2000).
He is the current President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Michael is an Honorary Life Vice President of the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture. He is also an Honorary Life Vice President of the Odu’a Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, and has been a member of the National Think Tank Committee Nigeria since 2007;
In recognition of his invaluable contributions to the management profession and nation building, he was conferred with two national honours awards which are Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2012 and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) in 2014 by the then President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.
The Business Mogul who had a successful career with Lever Brothers Nigeria (now Unilever Nigeria Plc.) where he rose to the position of Assistant Chief Accountant over 30 years ago, is the Founder/Chairman of COLENSON GROUP which comprises Colenson Brokers Nigeria Limited, Colenson Oil & Gas Limited, Intercontinental Procurements Limited, MOC Consulting Limited and Colenson Real Estate Limited; with business interests spanning Insurance, Management Consulting, Oil & Gas, Procurement, Training & Development, Market Research, Real Estate, Recruitment and Staff Outsourcing. The oldest in the Group (Colenson Brokers Nigeria Limited) was established in 1983 and is a major player in the Nigerian Insurance Industry, with proven track records of professionalism and excellence for four decades.
He is a Rotarian of national and international repute whose philanthropic activities are legendary. Having joined Rotary in 1980 as a Charter Secretary of his club, his dedication and passion have seen him serve meritoriously in various capacities as President Rotary Club of Isolo 1983/84 and District Governor 2005/2006 for District 9110 (The Rotary Centre at G.R.A. Ikeja in Lagos, Nigeria was built within 8 months when he was District Governor. It is the first in Africa and accommodates the District 9110 office in Nigeria. This makes District 9110 one of the very few districts that has its own District Office in the entire Rotary World). He had served as the Personal Representative of FIVE Rotary International Presidents at District Conferences thrice in Africa and twice in England and was a Representative, Council on Legislation 2017-2020, USA. He was Chair of the Institute Organizing Committee (IOC) for Zone 20A (Africa) Rotary International Institute which held for the first time in Nigeria in the year 2018. He is currently serving Rotary as a member of the Finance Committee of Rotary International (2021-2024). He and his wife are Paul Harris Fellows, Members of the Arch C. Klumph Society and Major Donors in Rotary International. Michael is also Benefactor of the Rotary Foundation. In selfless service to humanity, he has attended over 30 Rotary International Conventions across the globe.
In recognition of his outstanding efforts in the promotion of Rotary International objectives, he received the SERVICE ABOVE SELF AWARD which is the highest individual award for a Rotarian. He equally has to his credit several awards including Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Outstanding Merit Award; Distinguished Alumnus Award from University of Lagos Alumni Association; Eko Merit Award for his outstanding contributions to Public Service of Lagos State, Nigeria; Distinguished Leadership Award from the Awori Welfare Association of Nigeria; and Ambassador for Peace Award by The Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace.
Asiwaju (Dr.) Michael Olawale-Cole is a holder of some chieftaincy (Honorary and Traditional) titles, which include Bobagunwa of Ojoland; High Chief Ogboye of Ode-Remo; Gbobaniyi of Ibejuland; Seriki Gbadeniyi of Egbaland and Asiwaju of Ojota Kingdom. He is also a member of Ikoyi Club, Island Club, Yoruba Tennis Club, Lagos Country Club and Metropolitan Club, Lagos.
He is a devout and practising Christian of the Anglican Communion, and a recipient of the HEROES/LEGENDS AWARD by the Anglican Communion of Lagos Diocese, Nigeria (this is in recognition of his remarkable services and indelible contributions to the work of God in his parish, at the Diocese and in the National Church).
Michael is happily married to Chief (Mrs.) Bola Olawale-Cole (Nee Adebowale) who is a Past President, Inner Wheel Club of Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria. They are blessed with four children who are professionals in the fields of Finance, Engineering, Medicine and Law; and are proud grandparents of eight grandchildren.
The maxims: [“Helping others in need is not only a responsibility of life; it is what gives meaning to life.” – Mollie Marti] and [“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”- John Holmes] have served as guiding principles for Michael over the years and he has pledged to continue to serve the human race till his last breath.

Abiodun Olawale Cole, is a graduate from University of Derby and University of London where he gained his B.Engr, and MSC degrees respectively. He is a seasoned strategist and has spent the last 16yrs working for some of the worlds leading research and strategy firms in the UK and Nigeria. He has consulted for clients in the FMCG, Banking, Telco, Marine and much recently launched an Aviation Technology start up. He brings his wealth of experience in client service and business development to the Colenson Group of Companies

Adeniyi Ibraheem Makanjuola, born on February 16, 1980, is a visionary Nigerian entrepreneur and executive known for his strategic role in transforming the aviation and waste management sectors. With a rich educational background, he holds a degree in Financial Economics from the University of Essex and an MSc in Development Economics from University College London. This foundation paved the way for Makanjuola’s innovative approaches to business and investment.

 

As the Chairman of Caverton Helicopters and Group CEO of both Raven Resources Group and Visionscape International Holdings, Adeniyi Makanjuola has been pivotal in identifying and bridging systemic gaps in competitive markets. His leadership at Caverton Helicopters, a cornerstone of the Caverton Group, has been instrumental in its growth to become a dominant player in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa’s aviation industry. The company, co-founded by Makanjuola, is renowned for its expansive fleet of modern helicopters and its substantial contributions to Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, thanks to Makanjuola’s foresight and execution of strategic contracts with major oil companies.

 

Furthermore, Makanjuola has played a significant role in environmental management through Visionscape Sanitation Solutions, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable development. His directorial positions in various enterprises, including energy trading and sanitation, underscore his broad influence across different industries. Despite his extensive business engagements, Makanjuola maintains a low public profile, focusing on his enterprises and investments across Nigeria, the Middle East, and Europe.

 

Adeniyi Makanjuola’s career is a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit, innovative business models, and impactful leadership, making him a key figure in Nigeria’s corporate and environmental sectors.

Kolapo Kola-Daisi is a distinguished finance and banking executive with a strong background in economic and financial disciplines. Born on August 12, 1978, into the prestigious Kola-Daisi family of Ibadan, known for their contributions to philanthropy, education, health, and commerce, Kolapo has leveraged his heritage and education to make significant impacts in both the financial sector and the political arena.

 

Kolapo’s education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, UK, where he laid the foundation for his impressive career. He became a Chartered Accountant at 25 after qualifying in August 2004, becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Further solidifying his expertise, he earned a Chartered Banker MBA in 2015 from the University of Bangor, Wales, and holds associate memberships with the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Nigeria and in Scotland.

 

His career trajectory in finance began in the First Bank of Nigeria, London, and progressed through significant roles at Arram Berlyn Gardner, KPMG International Limited in London, and Strand Capital Partners Limited, among others. In 2012, he joined Heritage Bank Limited, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership as the Group Head of Performance Management and later as Treasurer, contributing strategically to the bank’s direction.

 

Kolapo is married to Abisola Kola-Daisi, a known businesswoman and fashion connoisseur, and together, they have three children. His life and career are a testament to the powerful combination of a rich familial legacy, robust education, and a strong commitment to both professional excellence and public service.

Mr. Ngere Macauley is a graduate of Economics from the University of Lagos with over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. He started his Professional career with Kelsan Insurance Brokers Ltd. He worked with this company for many years before he joined Tulip Insurance Brokers Ltd as the pioneer MD/CEO. He moved to Helmsman Insurance Brokers as COO in 2012 where he later joined Colenson Brokers Nigeria Ltd as Deputy General Manager, Operations. He is an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute, Nigeria

Adewale Adeniyi is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. A graduate of Microbiology with MBA (Finance), both from Lagos State University, Ojo. He started his working career in the year 1998 as the Marketing/Operations Manager of AFMEC Nigeria Ltd, Port Harcourt. He has nearly 20 years industrial experience in Insurance. He started with Goldlink Insurance Company Limited, as a Management Trainee in 1999 in the Ibadan Branch, after which he was moved to the Head Office, where he rose to the position of Assistant Manager (Life & Pension). He then moved to CrystaLife Assurance Ltd, as a Deputy Manager, under the tutelage of Mrs Seyi Ifaturoti, then to ARM Life Plc in 2013, from where he rose to the position of Head Retail and Corporate Claims, then later Head of Annuity Department in 2014, His diligence, dedication to work, eyes to details, marketing, managerial acumen and experiences in various life operations like underwriting, claims administration and marketing make him a force to be reckoned with (Incorporated Registered Insurance & Re-Insurance Brokers) RC:55790, RB:007 (Since 1983)

Miss Damilola Williams is a graduate of the insurance programme at Lagos State Polytechnic. She worked at various levels from 2007 to 2023 with Brightways Insurance Brokers Limited, a notable insurance brokerage firm in Lagos.

During this period, she started her BSc. Insurance, which is still in view at Joseph Ayo Babalola University. She did various trainings and attended some courses, which have added to her wealth of experience as a seasoned underwriter. She also has vast experience in client services.

Mrs. Erhabor-Ojini graduated from the University of Calabar in Public Administration in 1998. She started her Insurance career with Admiral Insurance Co. Ltd, Abuja. Later, she moved to Crusader Insurance Plc, Abuja as Marketing Executive before she joined AIICO General Insurance Company Ltd, Abuja, as a Marketing Superintendent. She subsequently proceeded to Cradle Insurance Brokers Ltd as Head, Nothern Operations from where she left and joined Colenson Brokers Nigeria Ltd as Head, Northern Operations.

Manager (HR)

Lolu Daniel Oluwatona is the Human Resources Manager at Colenson Brokers Nigeria Ltd. He has over ten years of organisational experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development and has consulted across industries for clients that include Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Delta State Government , Nigeria Machine Tools and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) amongst others. A Research Analyst on WORLD BANK-NIG GOVT. Partnership Projects; Prior to joining Colenson Brokers, he was the Training Manager at Generis Solutions Ltd before moving to Direct Impact Consulting as Head of Human Resources. He was a Research Executive at RMS Africa where he handled enterprise-size projects for multinationals including Guinness Nigeria, Chevron and Harris Interactive South Africa. A graduate of Computer Science/Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University (Ile Ife). He is an Associate Member-Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). He holds an MBA degree (Distinction) in Human Resources Management from the University of Lagos Akoka.

Alice is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. A graduate of Urban and Regional Planning (FPI) and also had a Diploma in Marketing from Poise Finishing Graduate Academy Lekki Lagos.

She started her career with Ecobank Plc in 2007 and later moved to Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and spent 5 years. Her Insurance started with Zenith General Insurance Limited in 2017 where she had a very robust career and had three consecutive promotions within the years, from there she moved to Colenson Brokers Nigeria Limited as a Senior Business Development Executive. She is a lover of Music, she loves traveling and meeting new people. 

Ikechukwu Victor is a graduate of Accounting and a seasoned Chartered Accountant with the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a student of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program

Over the years, he has worked in the capacity of an Auditor, an Accountant and as a Finance Officer.He has worked in different sectors which include Agricultural, Telecommunications, Real estate and construction sector of the economy. He has garnered a high level of experience in Finance related issues.

He has a principled and savvy knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP and good knowledge of Financial Analysis.
